Stools for the School is the newest addition to our annual Booster Bash Fundraiser!
This art project is a collaborative effort between the Booster Club and the various extra-curricular groups at Lakes Community High School. Our idea was to create an opportunity for the student groups who receive our funding, to be able to participate in raising those very funds, and to have a community art project to share at the same time!
In March, we recieved 30 bright red metal bar stools which were given to various LCHS activity groups, clubs and athletic teams, to decorate however they chose. The stools have been returned to the school, and are on display in the front office. As a part of our Booster Bash fundraiser, we are offering the stools to you, the parents and staff, to bid on in the hopes of winning your own unique piece of art!
Photos of the stools will be placed on this blog site. You will be able to post your bid as a reply to this blog. The site will be checked and updated at the end of each day. On April 29, online bidding will close, and we will take the stools to the Booster Bash, our live auction fundraiser dinner at the Antioch Golf Club. There, the stools will be displayed for the silent auction part of our fundraiser. The top online bid as of April 29 will become the opening bid at the Booster Bash. Attendees at the Bash will have the opportunity to outbid that opening bid. If the top online bid is not surpassed, the online bidder will be the winner and will be notified. Payment to the Lakes Eagles Booster Club (LEBC) will be expected by May 15.
